Mandate
Based on RA 9500 Reorganization of UP the following are the general mandates of the UPLB BAO
- Provide leadership and direction in the management of business enterprises
- Oversee the management of all existing generating enterprises and projects
- Initiate and manage new income generating projects/programs
- Recommend policies, guidelines, systems and procedures for the improvement of the operational and financial performance of income generating Projects/Programs
About Us
The Business Affairs Office (BAO) is the arm of the University in providing leadership and direction in the management of business enterprises in the campus. Since its creation, BAO has managed and generated income from leases, trade fairs, and rentals. The income generated is used by the University to support its general mandates of instruction, research and extension. In line with the vision of future-proofing our programs, systems, and processes, BAO is committed to continually develop innovative, engaging, and inclusive programs and services to promote an entrepreneurial university.
